What a day...

ok now I'm worried. the tip of the penis is not visible. (It is called the glans right?) We called the doctor and he said that it should not look like that so now we have to go back tomorrow and check it out. insha allah it will turn out ok.

Oh what a tough day this has been. It was absolutely horrible to see my little prince cry as much as he did. He was afraid. it could be seen. My heart really went into a thousand pieces. But even though it's been a tough day for both of us, it feels much better now that it is finally done. My little prince seems to feel good and he does not seem to be in any particularly pain because he is happy and joyful, But he is tired though. for this I am very happy. Hope the night goes as smoothly as the afternoon and early evening, has done.

i know how bad it was. i was crying when my little one got his done, i couldnt watch! what technique did the doctor use? my son got a clip thing attached and i do remember it being very red and swollen for a couple of days afterwards. are you using olive oil? it is really good for his skin and helps it heal quicker :)

:-( InshaAllah it will be ok. When your child is in pain you feel it to in your heart.

Well I am not sure what technique he used cause I could not watch, but my husband said he pulled the skin up and used some sort of clip to and the he cut the skin of. afterwards he just let the penis be. he put a compress on the wound with white vaseline. and some cotton that would stop the bleeding. he said that when the boy is so little it will heal by it self in a week or so.

so there is no clip? that is strange as that is what keeps it in place, otherwise the head would disappear inwards if you understand what i mean..i think you should find a different doctor tbh, maybe ask your own doctor about it just to be on the safe side but its true it is better to get it done when they are babies because it heals so much quicker and you can look after him better..not so easy if they are 7 years old lol!
