What should you do when the ideas running out?
Sometimes I feel completely empty inside my head. I do not know if it's because I walk around at home all day and are completely unaware of what's happening in the world. I have not read a newspaper since my son was born (almost). I do not know how it is with you, but I feel like the brain is emptied of thoughts when I never fill it with something. I just play all day with my son and sometimes I get a chance to go out and meet a girlfriend and do some shopping, as yesterday, for example. Yes I know, I can read a newspaper on the internet but I do not know, I do not. I only read the free paper available at bus and train on the way to work and it's been a while since I was at work. I feel so incredibly excited to be working but it will be a long time before I get back to work.
But actually it's very nice to be home and be a mother also, it's just that I do not have to meet other moms and talk to. And those I have met appear to be most interested to hear themselves talk, which I think is not particularly stimulating. So here I sit mostly on my own with my own empty head and my little cutie of a son who is soon going to begin to crawl, and when that happens I will probably never get to have time to write on this blog. I will be too busy running after my son.
But right now I wish I had some ideas about what to write about.
Maxi dress
I'm so happy! I found such a nice dress today! Actually, I must say that I really love fashion, which is this year. I usually never able to find clothes that I like in regular stores but this year it's fashion with maxi dresses and maxi skirts. And I found a really nice maxi dress today when I was shopping with a friend of mine. Actually, I can not afford it, it's really hard not having money. Imagine what a problem when you become parents and can no longer buy what they want. (haha) But sometimes you just have to give yourself something nice, don´t ya think??
Anyway, this is the dress I bought.
This will be perfect to have like a long sleeved T-shirt underneath

A little tooth!
My little baby is about to have a tooth! It is so cute, but so hard for now he whines all the time. I can not get a quiet moment right now. My little sweetheart is never satisfied. Moreover, he seems to have entered a phase where he spits out all the food he gets. How incredibly annoying. I'm going crazy. Previously, he ate always with a smile, he loves food. But now everything is a game for him and it drives me crazy! I hope it gets better soon because I get very tired with all his whining.

It looks like it would hurt and I always put his foot back in but he just keep popping it out.

At first I thought "I don´t have anything I tresure" but then I came to realize that I do. My wedding ring. Becuase it represent our love in a way. I don´t have any pictures of it so this one have to do.

I want to trade places with my sister actually. I really do want to know how she thinks. cuz I really do not understand her. There is really a lot of things about her I don´t understand. I love her alot ofcourse but she drives me crazy at the same time.
This is my sister, and as usual only a part of her. She do not understand me and I really do not understand her. I guess we are at opposite ends of the spectrum, in the way we think, views, how we dress. Well everything really.
A weird discussion
Sometimes I come across people who say things to me that I simply can not let go. I can not stop thinking about it and often I can not sleep at night because when I'm trying to figure out how I can give a good response and sometimes I'm just too angry and lies and argue with the person in question in my head. I always have so much good things to say when I'm lying there in the darkness.
It has happened two things recently that made me irritated and I am now thinking very much about. One of these things is a discussion I had with my sister a month ago. Yes I know a whole month, I have gone around and been irritated and a bit sad that my sister for the first refused to listen to my arguments, and second she seems to think that I am completely without brain cells. Ok I'm no Einstein but I'm really absolutely not without brain cells either. Maybe I should explain what happened.

My sister says: It's so funny that people at that time believed that there was a hymen.
I said: Yes, but it does actually.
My sister: No, it's a myth
I said: No it is not a myth.
Then I tried to then explain the following to her: The hymen is a membrane that surrounds or partially covers the external vaginal opening. It forms part of the vulva, or external genitalia. (wikipedia) Well not exactly with these words but you get what I mean right?

But she just would not listen to reason. She did not listen period.
I know this is a weird topic perhaps to discuss but she have been saying this quite often latley and I just had to say something this time. And she just looked at me like there was something wrong with my brain or something.
Am I really that stupid? But would it not be something you had heard about before, I mean if it was really a myth??

I do not even know what to write today. Now that I'm doing my photo challenge, maybe I do not have to write every day?
I'll tell you a secret.
I have done several days at once to be sure that I don forget about it. Now, five posts is ready and are waiting to be published. Since I have children, it is not always I have time to sit at the computer and be creative and therefore it would be good for me to take this opportunity to write several posts when I have time for it. They are now scheduled and will be published without my having to log on to my blog if I did not have time for some reason. smart huh?
Anyway, haven´t done much today. But I have been outside in the lovley spring weather.

sleeping habits
I've been thinking a lot on children's sleep habits latley. I want the best for my son of course and has thought deeply about what is best for him. We were at my son's sheck up as we do every month or so. The nurse talked last time we were there about sleep habits. She said that at about 6 months it might be a good idea to consider not breast-feed him during the night. Now the child does not need the nutrition during the night anymore.
She also said that if he is not already doing so, it might be good for him tp sleep in his own bed. The reason for this is that it is easiest to teach him these things now at 6 months. Because when he gets eight months, he will enter a phase of dependent. This means that he will be very dependent on the mother and shy with other people. She said that it is not good to change rutines during this period because the child already has it really hard during this period.
My son is already sleeping in his own bed (for the most part), and he has done so since he was 2 months, but he sleeps in our bedroom. I decided to try not to breastfeed him during the night hours. I tried for the first time last night. It went very well. He was of course sad but I did not take him out of bed, but I gave him the pacifier instead and patted him gently on the head. Then he fell asleep right away! I'm so glad it went well. I hope it goes as well tonight.
All you mothers out there what have you done/are going to do with this sort of thing??
