I know this feeling - and I am not even a mother, I'm a step mom (which has its own challenges). But I know the fear of doing something wrong. But over the years I have learned to set boundaries and listen to my inner voice (and making duaa) and this has made my relationship with my step daughter a lot easier and better, Alhamdulillah.
I wish you all the best and I'm sure you're a lovely mom! It's always a good sign when somebody fears that they're not doing it right, instead of when somebody is SURE they never do anything wrong!! ;)
